Boston Soccer Parents - Youth Soccer Costs Per Season

Soccer Parents. Looking for interviewees for a Boston Business Journal Hi everyone! I’m a freelance reporter working on a story for the Boston Business Journal about the cost of youth soccer in the Boston area. I’m hoping to hear from parents and caregivers about their experiences navigating youth soccer, particularly the financial side of things. I’m interested in understanding what families pay over the course of a season, including club fees, travel, tournaments, hotels, equipment, and other expenses that can add up. I’d also love to learn how families weigh these costs against the benefits of playing, how expenses differ between recreational and competitive clubs, and whether financial aid or other support makes a difference. If you’re a parent or caregiver with experience in Boston-area youth soccer, I’d really appreciate hearing your perspective. Feel free to comment below or send me a private message if you’d prefer to speak privately. Thanks so much for helping me better understand the realities families face!
