British Residents in Abu Dhabi & UAE - Iran War Evacuations & Safety

I’m reporting a Special Report for the Evening Standard on how the recent Iran war affected British residents of Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. I’m particularly keen to speak to people who left temporarily or permanently, sent family members back to Britain, subsequently returned, or reconsidered their longer-term plans. I'd also like to hear from those who stayed and feel that reports of an exodus—or of a wider collapse in confidence—were exaggerated. I’m interested in the practical experience of the crisis: emergency alerts, disrupted flights, work and school arrangements, access to reliable information, and whether the war changed people’s sense of the UAE as a safe and politically stable place to live. An initial conversation can be off the record and I would not quote or identify anyone without their agreement. Please message me privately or share this with anyone who may be willing to speak.
