Canadian Daters & Long-Distance Caregivers for Globe and Mail Stories
Hi there! I have two (very different) source requests, both for Globe & Mail stories. If you'd like to speak to me for either, I'm at kannerolfe at gmail dot com!
For one, I'm looking to chat with Canadians who are actively dating about the etiquette around who pays on dates. There seems to be a growing discussion on social media that men should pick up the tab. If you're a woman, is that something you look for when you're dating? Do you want to split the bill? Men: how do you feel about this? I would also love to hear from queer folks about what norms, if any, there are around who pays!
For the second story, I'm looking to speak with Canadians who are caring for aging parents at a distance, whether that's another town, another province, or another country. I'd like to hear from you about the logistics involved, what you can and can't do given the distance, and the emotions that might come with that.
