Canadians Abroad Needed—OTC Birth Control Access for CBC Story

Can you get birth control without a prescription? Hi folks, I'm a journalist for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (Canada's public broadcaster), working on a story about why it is that you can only get birth control with a prescription in Canada, despite it being available OTC with no prescription in most countries around the world (see here for example: https://freethepill.org/otc-access-world-map ) I'm hoping some of you in here might be Canadians who have lived abroad, and willing to share your experience... or maybe you live in a country where you don't need a prescription, and have struggled to find it elsewhere where you do need one. If you want, I can also share what I've learned so far about why it's only available with a prescription here!
