Chula Vista Residents - Underrepresented Stories - MFA Short

I’m looking for someone to be filmed for a short MFA documentary cinematography class assignment: a brief sit-down interview and a short activity-based interview. No on-camera experience needed. I’m located in Chula Vista, CA, and willing to travel for future projects. I’m especially interested in people with stories, experiences, work, or perspectives that aren’t often represented in film and media. Diversity in the people and stories I film is important to me. If you have a story, background, experience, profession, hobby, or point of view that you don’t often see represented in film or media, I’d especially like to hear from you. You do not need to think of yourself as having a dramatic or extraordinary story. Sometimes the most compelling documentary material is simply a perspective people rarely get the chance to hear. And even if your schedule doesn’t work right now, feel free to reach out. I have several documentary projects coming up, and I’m interested in meeting people whose experiences or work could become the basis for a future story. You do not need any experience being interviewed or appearing on camera. I’m mainly looking for someone who is comfortable talking about something they do, care about, or have experienced. CURRENT PROJECT needs to wrap all filming before OCT 10: Information is listed in the comments.
