Couples Who Make People Smile - Everyday Relationship Stories

Yesterday we received a video entry for Ikdhun. If your Ikdhun Mini profile is open to dating, you probably know our third question: What does a great relationship look like to you, and what kind of people are you attracted to? She chose to answer the first part. She said: “My bhaiya and bhabhi.” When her bhabhi was working a low-paying part-time job and looking for something better, her bhaiya would help her finish her data analysis work while also managing things at home. Later, when he didn’t have a job, she supported both of them. And through all of it, she remembers them smiling. I think we need more stories like this. Because when you’re meeting people, getting rejected, getting ghosted, or just having one disappointing conversation after another, it’s very easy to start thinking good relationships don’t exist. They do. And I think we should document them. So we’re starting #IkdhunAmbassadors. If you know a couple whose relationship makes the people around them smile, please tell us about them. They don’t need to be on social media. Maybe they’re too busy living it. :) We don’t care about their jobs, titles, followers, or how impressive they look on paper. We just want to hear about two people who have built something good together including the hard parts and the work it took to get there. And if you are that couple, please write to us too.
