Culinary Travelers & Hospitality Leaders - Food Travel Features
For T+L's Food Issue, I'm currently reporting a series of digital features and looking to connect with people whose work—or travels—intersect with these stories:
1. Destination Dining
How restaurants are increasingly becoming the reason we choose a destination. I'm looking to speak with travellers who've planned an entire trip around a restaurant or dining experience, as well as chefs, travel advisors, tourism boards, and culinary travel experts.
2. Hotels as Culinary Destinations
How luxury hotels are redefining themselves through food—from destination restaurants and chef collaborations to breakfast experiences and hyperlocal dining. I'd love to hear from hotel GMs, F&B directors, executive chefs, hospitality consultants and luxury travel specialists.
3. The New Souvenirs: Ingredients
Will explore why travellers are returning with local ingredients instead of traditional souvenirs. I'm looking to speak with travellers who've brought home memorable food finds, along with food historians, behavioural psychologists, or any other experts who can elaborate on the trend.
If you have a perspective to share, or know someone who does, I'd love to hear from you at [email redacted]. Recommendations and introductions are always welcome.
