Eindhoven Residents - Philips Identity Around PSV Today

We tried to tell the story of Eindhoven through Philips and PSV, did we get the relationship right? Hi everyone, I’m part of a small Italian YouTube channel about football, cities and European culture. We recently worked on a story about Eindhoven, and what fascinated us most was how difficult it is to separate three things: Philips, PSV and the city itself. What started as a football club for Philips employees eventually became one of the most recognizable symbols of Eindhoven, while the company itself was transforming the city around it. We tried to tell that relationship through football, eventually arriving at PSV’s European Cup win in 1988. I’d actually love to hear the perspective of people from Eindhoven: how much of the Philips identity can you still feel in the city and around PSV today?
