Freelance Journalist in Galway - Local & National Stories

After almost 19 years working in The Connacht Tribune and Galway City Tribune, I have decided to pursue a career as a freelance journalist. I leave with some great memories and colleagues who have become lifelong friends, but I’m looking forward to new opportunities and a fresh challenge. The experience I have gained covering courts and politics, and writing news stories and features for nearly two decades at the Tribune will stand to me as I go it alone.
