Gen Z Women 18-28 - Mothers' Menopause Impact on Body & Bonds
π£ Call out alert!
I'm reporting a feature for Women's Health Magazine about Gen Z women who have watched their mothers go through menopause or preimenopause - and what that experience taught them about their own bodies, their health and overall relationship with their mothers. This is going to be one of the most important pieces that I have written in my career, and I can't do without getting commentary from Gen Z themselves.
I'm looking for two Gen Z women (ages 18-28) who are open to sharing their experience for this piece.
You'd be a great fit if:
β You've watched a parent navigate perimenopause or menopause
β You had to figure out what was happening
β It changed how you see your mom, your body, or both
β You're willing to talk about it honestly
Race, background and family communication style all matter to this story. I'm especially interested in hearing from women whose families didn't talk about this openly, and from women of color whose also suffers from this form of silence.
If this is something that speaks true to your heart and would love to share it with the WH community, I'd love to hear from you. Send me a DM, email me or drop your email in the comments and I'll reach out directly.
Thanks π§‘
