German Women 40-55 in Berlin - Rebuilding Self-Confidence & Body Image

Looking for a German woman (40–55) living in Berlin for a documentary Hi everyone! I’m a French journalist based in Berlin, currently researching a documentary that will follow five women across Europe and their journeys of rebuilding themselves after a difficult life experience. The film is co-funded by Sephora and is planned for release on Amazon Prime in 2027. For the Berlin chapter, I’m looking for a German woman aged 40–55, living in Berlin, who has been through a major life experience, such as cancer, a serious accident, divorce/separation, bereavement, violence, or another personal crisis, and has since found a new way of reconnecting with herself and her body. The documentary will explore self-confidence, body image, beauty, self-care and the rituals that help us feel good about ourselves again.
