Groningen Locals & Historians - Hanseatic Trade, Tobacco & Cannabis

Looking for people from Groningen to discuss Hanseatic history, tobacco trade & modern cannabis culture Hello everyone, I’m a university student at HU and am currently researching Groningen for a cultural journalism magazine article, and I’m looking to speak with anyone who know the city well, especially locals, historians, students, longtime residents, or anyone very knowledgeable about Groningen’s history and culture. My magazine is going to be mostly focusing on: Groningen’s historical trading identity and links to the Hanseatic League Tobacco trade and smoking culture in Groningen’s commercial history Modern cannabis/coffeeshop culture and student life Internationalism, trade, and cosmopolitan identity in the city How Groningen has changed culturally over time So if anyone is knowledgeable about the Hanseatic league in Groningen and the tobacco trade, I’d love to hear from you, ask some question and maybe do an online interview. Thank you all in advance!
