Independent Musicians on New Tech for Fairer Streaming Payouts
Independent musicians: How could new tech help create fairer streaming payouts?
Hey all,

At the same time, technology is creating opportunities we haven’t had before. With cloud infrastructure and AI-assisted tools, it’s easier than ever to build scalable, artist-friendly platforms without massive budgets.
I’d love to hear from the community about the following:

Is user centric payout an ideal solution? i. e. Customer subscribes to the service and listen to Artist A (50% of the time) and B (remaining 50%) only. Customer's subscription payment gets split equally among artist A and B as their payout. Platform itself is a non-profit.
