Indian Travellers - Southeast Asia Travel Trends & Airport Layovers

Working on the Asia issue of T+L and looking to speak with people for a few upcoming stories. If you fit any of these categories, or know someone who does, please email me at [email redacted] with "T+L Asia Issue" in the subject line. 1. Why Southeast Asia is becoming the preferred destination for Indian travellers. Looking to speak with: • Indian travellers with memorable/recent Southeast Asia experiences • Travel agencies seeing a rise in demand • Tourism boards • Hotels and hospitality groups in the region 2. Some of Asia’s most important travel experiences are happening in transit—at its airports. I'm seeking: • Travellers who were so impressed by an airport that they extended a layover, revisited, or travelled because of it • People who intentionally chose long layovers to experience airports in Asia, etc. • Airport authorities in Asia • Travel agents 3. The convenience stores of Asia are destinations in themselves. Looking for Indian travellers who frequent and love convenience store culture across Asia —whether in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, or elsewhere. Tell me about your favourite finds, rituals, snacks, meals, or why these stores became part of your travel experience. Would especially appreciate shares and recommendations. Thank you! #journorequest #travel #asia
