It's certainly been a bit, but I hope this finds you well. I'm working on a story about a disconnect in the job market.There's seemingly solid numbers on the job market, like very low jobless rates. But there's all sorts of indications that people are stressed about the job market for a variety of reasons. Exhibit A: the length of time needed to find a job now if you are out of work. I'm looking for people who see the job market up close.How are they feeling about it? I'm curious to hear from job seekers, part timers looking for more, people with full time jobs who think they need to upskill, etc. Is there anyone at the Launch Pad Job Club who would be up for talking to me? If anyone wants to talk, I'm all ears. If they are curious but want to learn more before doing the interview, I'm happy to explain. This is a story I am aiming to file by July 8th.
