#JournoRequest Hi everyone! Why are men emotionally unavailable? I am sure, all of us, as women, think about it quite often. But how often do we think about the emotions behind this turmoil. The era of modern-dating has led to inception of terms like situationships, breadcrumbing, bare minimum, and what not. Consequently, catch phrases like “emotional unavailability” has become a new escape to normalise manipulation in relationships. However, it doesn’t stem from one factor. Patriarchy, social conditioning, lack of emotional depth etc are pivotal to what we know as the emotional unavailability of men.
