The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026. As the world's largest dedicated comedy festival, it has a rich history featuring many famous comedians such as David O’Doherty, Michelle Brasier, Nazeem Hussain, Chloe Petts, Lizzy Hoo, Scout Boxall, Wil Anderson, and Mark Watson. We are seeking personal stories from audiences, crew members, and comedians who have experienced the festival over the years, focusing on the funniest, strangest, or most disastrous moments on stage or off.
We want to hear about the funniest, strangest or most disastrous moments in 40 years of MICF history – whether you are a punter, crew member or comedian.
