Montreal & Quebec Residents - Local News Tips

So excited to share some professional news: Last month, I started a new role at CBC in the Montreal bureau as a Digital Lineup Editor. The whole web team there has been super welcoming and it's been such a thrill to be a in proper newsroom once more after well over a decade in lifestyle journalism and spending eight (8!) straight years working remotely. Part of me feels like I'm getting back to my roots in hard journalism from my days at Concordia's undisputed best student newspaper, The Link, but then part of me also got to send a real CBC push alert last week and watch it pop up on my own phone within one second. Past and future! Such an honour to be working for Canada's national broadcaster and serving the Montreal community and the province I've called home all my life.
