Neurodivergent Adults - Wiredism Framework & AI Stratification

Okay, I got scared to share this essay and framework but here it is. I am introducing a new framework today: Wiredism. Wiredism is the emerging stratification between neurodivergent and neurotypical people in an AI-driven economy. It operates on four levels, structural, institutional, interpersonal, and individual, and like every system of oppression before it, it will reproduce itself unless we are intentional about disrupting the pattern now. The core argument: AI was not built by neutral minds. It was built largely by neurodivergent people. The architecture reflects that. Pattern recognition, parallel processing, hyperfocus, nonlinear thinking. These are not accommodations built into AI. They are the native language of how it thinks. Which means the world just switched languages. And a lot of people do not know it yet. I wrote this essay because I have lived inside enough systems of oppression to recognize when a new one is being built. And I believe the people coming into power right now, neurodivergent people, have a choice that every other rising group has faced: build something different, or reproduce the same hierarchy with different people on top. I am a late-diagnosed woman who masked for decades. I know what the system cost me. I also know what it taught me. Wiredism is on Substack now.
