Nicole Morin Case Witnesses for Toronto Documentary
Hi Toronto,
I’m working on an independent documentary project about Nicole Morin, the 8-year-old girl who vanished from her apartment building at 627 The West Mall in Etobicoke on July 30, 1985. Her disappearance remains one of Canada’s unsolved mysteries.
As part of my research, I’m trying to find more information about the young friend Nicole was supposed to meet that morning. She was waiting for Nicole in the lobby so they could go swimming together.
This friend was reportedly the last person to speak to Nicole over the intercom, and waited downstairs when Nicole never arrived. Her name has never been made public, likely for privacy reasons at the time. I fully understand how sensitive this is and want to approach it with care and respect.
If you are that person, or know who she was, or if you lived in the building at the time and remember anything about that day, I’d be very grateful to hear from you. Any information, memory, or lead would be appreciated.
This project is being developed with compassion and integrity. My goal is to bring renewed attention to Nicole’s story and explore how something like this could happen in a busy Toronto building in broad daylight.
Please feel free to message me privately if you’d prefer to speak off the thread. Thank you for your time and help.
