About a year ago, I had the opportunity to get personal with the HuffPost about how national immigration policies set forth by the Trump Administration could have personally affected my romantic relationship with a non-American student -- and the larger consequences of categorizing the "other" as an enemy.
But a lot has happened around the world since I published that story. I continue to advance my career as a journalist, I've become more interested in helping bridge the divide between "us" and "them," in ways that extend beyond my personal life.
I'm beginning work on a personal writing project, and I'm looking for your help. If you, or someone you know, has been personally impacted in any way by current global unrest in Iran, Lebanon, Gaza, Sudan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, or any other area, and are interested in learning more about this project, please feel free to reach out to me at: [email redacted] or send me a message here on LinkedIn.
Please share this with your networks! Thank you so much.
