People on NHS Waiting Lists - Denied Travel Insurance Cover

Has anyone here been on an NHS waiting list for medical treatment and been unable to get travel insurance cover? Hey, I’m looking for examples of people who have been impacted by the fact that previously you couldn’t get the correct medical cover when you went on holiday if you were waiting for treatment on the NHS. Would also love to hear from people who have been put off going on holiday because they couldn’t get the right medical cover! Or someone who was compelled to lie about their condition so they wouldn’t be exempted from cover. If any of this sounds like you please drop me a message as I’m writing up a story on this :)
