As I begin my Churchill Fellowship journey, I’m reaching out to my network for a little help. I’m looking to connect with professionals in Germany, particularly Bonn and the Cologne area, Sweden, particularly Gothenburg, Japan, with a focus on Tokyo but countrywide, and the USA, especially New Orleans and Miami. I’m particularly keen to speak with policymakers, resilience and emergency planners, fire and rescue services, civil defence organisations, emergency responders, rescue specialists, and voluntary sector organisations involved in planning for or responding to major incidents such as flooding, wildfire, terrorism, conflict, or other large-scale emergencies requiring coordinated response, evacuation, and rescue.
