Religious School Alumni on Sex Education Experiences

I have a Question For People Who Attended Religious School on Sex Education How did you guys have sex and masturbation explained to you? Even if it was vague, I’m struggling to find direct stories from people for a story I’m writing. For reference, I went to a Christian school until 9th grade, and the closest thing I got to the talk was our teacher joking that he would teach us in health class. We were told about circumcision for reading purposes, and that it was sinful to have sex before marriage. We also were sort of told that Song of Songs was a very racey chapter that we wouldn’t be able to learn about until high school. Was everyone else’s experience more or less similar or is there something else you might’ve gone through?
