School Teachers & Counsellors & PE Teachers - Discipline Post-Ban

#journorequest Dear connections on LinkedIn, I’m currently working on a feature story exploring how the meaning of discipline in schools is changing, particularly as corporal punishment is prohibited and schools look for alternative ways to manage student behaviour. I’m looking to speak to school teachers about the disciplinary challenges they encounter in classrooms and the methods they use instead of corporal punishment. I’m particularly interested in understanding what works, what doesn’t, and how teachers handle repeated behavioural issues. I’m also looking for insights from school counsellors & physical education teachers on positive discipline practices and whether teachers are receiving adequate training and support to implement them. In effect, I’m looking to answer: If corporal punishment is no longer an option, what does discipline look like in today’s classroom — and are teachers equipped to handle it?
