Senior Ethnic Minority Leaders - Leadership Exchange Series

We recently launched our new learning and development series, 'The Leadership Exchange', with our first session featuring Serena Chana, hosted by Ishy Akhtar. The aim of these conversations is to create honest discussions around leadership, career growth and lived experiences, while spotlighting senior leaders from ethnic minority backgrounds. Serena shared honest reflections on stepping into leadership, navigating workplace expectations, and the pressure many women face around being “likeable” at work. Her advice on finding managers and advocates who genuinely champion your growth really stood out to me. I loved helping organise this and feel really proud to chair a network that works to amplify ethnic minority voices while creating opportunities for learning and development.
