Southern Right Whale Researchers WA South Coast - Climate & Migration

I’m looking to another source on an editorial about southern right whales research 🐋 As someone who has worked in the marine science industry I know how hard it can be to effectively convey the stories of research. I’m writing a small piece for a mentorship program with Avery Schuyler Nunn about southern right whales along the south coast of Western Australia. After witnessing mother-calf pairs in one of their nursery areas last week, I can confirm how magical these whales are hanging out just behind the surf break! I’d love to speak with scientists researching topics such as climate impacts, changes in ocean conditions or food availability, population dynamics, migration, or other processes affecting southern right whales in southwestern Australia.
