One woman. One microphone. One idea.
We need to have the conversations we are not talking about.
That was it.
Notes From the Edge started with a $50 microphone, a manuscript, and a desire for real human connection and raw talk.
No elaborate studio.
No massive production team.
No carefully scripted conversations.
Just a belief that there are people carrying stories we rarely make room for, and that maybe what they needed wasn’t another polished interview.
Maybe they needed a place to be human.
Today, Notes From the Edge is ranked globally in more than 25 countries and backed by Gamut Podcast Network part of Hubbard Radio, a team that welcomed me like family and understood exactly what I was trying to build.
Because many of the people who sit across from me have been through some heavy shit.
Trauma. Addiction. Illness. Loss. Incarceration. Reinvention. Mental health crises. Betrayal. Survival.
And somehow, they came out the other side wanting to use what happened to them to help someone else.
That deserves more than six predetermined questions and a countdown clock.
My goal is simple:
Give every guest an undeniable experience.
Give them enough space to forget they’re being interviewed.
Give them room to laugh, cry, swear, change direction, disappear down a rabbit hole, and say the thing they didn’t know they were going to say.
No script. No performance. Just human beings talking to human beings.
And apparently, people around the world were hungry for exactly that.
From a $50 microphone to global rankings in more than 25 countries.
I still believe the same thing I believed when I hit record the first time:
We need to have the conversations we are not talking about.
One woman.
One microphone.
One idea.
And one hell of a lot of conversations still to have.
We’re now booking guests for October.
If you have a story, message, body of work, or methodology that could genuinely help someone else navigate life, healing, identity, recovery, relationships, leadership, or reinvention, I want to hear from you.
You do not need a perfectly polished story.
You do not need a performance.
You need something real to say and a willingness to have the conversation.
DM me if you believe you belong at the Edge.
What did you perform in order to survive?
