Sustainable Cruise Travel Advisors & Lines for The Compass Feature
The Compass magazine: The Cruise Industry’s Movement To Become More Sustainable
For a print issue of The Compass (a travel magazine for travel advisors) I’m covering cruise lines’ sustainability commitments, innovations, and long-term environmental strategies. This will be an engaging (but not promotional!) overview of what leading cruise lines are doing now—and what they plan to do next—to reduce their environmental impact. I’m looking for:
- A travel advisor who specializes in sustainable travel and/or cruising to interview about how to use sustainable cruising initiatives to attract clients, and why/how to book with sustainable cruise lines.
- Info from cruise lines on their latest (or upcoming) sustainability initiatives, benefits of those initiatives for both travelers and the world, and how passengers are responding to these initiatives. I’m particularly interested in hearing from Hurtigruten, Ponant, Regent, and Riviera, but I am open to hearing from any other cruise lines with info to share, as well!
If you can help, please email me () ASAP! I’m looking to have all info and interviews by Dec. 19. Thanks!
