The Compass magazine: Port cities where a pre- or post-cruise stay is a must For an upcoming print issue of The Compass magazine, I’m working on an article that will highlight destinations around the world that are especially well-suited for extending a trip on the front or back end of a cruise. The focus should be on cities or destinations where cruises commonly begin or end, rather than on cruise ports themselves. The goal is to inspire travelers to spend additional time exploring these locations instead of simply passing through.
