Travel-Environment-Tech Story Leads in Costa Rica & Panama - Guardian
Seeking Costa Rica and Panama stories
As many of you know, I’m currently in Colombia but I’m now plotting a land/sea adventure up to Panama and Costa Rica, where I plan to travel to in April.
I’m scouting out a variety of stories: These can be about travel (for example, in Mexico last year I explored the country's first long-distance hiking trail for the Sunday Times and the concerns of overtourism in Bacalar for the Evening Standard); environmental (for the Guardian Global Development desk I explored one man's tree-planting mission in the Western Highlands of the country); or tech/innovation (last year I worked on a story for the Guardian on the innovations being used to help find some of Mexico's missing people) and/or business related.
Any leads/contacts etc would be great. I am interested in stories rather than hearing that an NGO/company exists - what's the story?

Picture: of me in Jardin in Colombia’s coffee region at the weekend (before I made a poor life decision and hiked downhill, duly followed by a storm, making it a treacherous, slippery mudbath of a walk).
