UK Charity & Third Sector Leaders - State of Cybersecurity Interviews

📢 Are you a leader in a UK charity, voluntary organisation or social-purpose organisation? We are looking for people to take part in a short, confidential interview next week for the 'State of Cybersecurity in the Third Sector report', being produced by Cybility Consulting Ltd in partnership with Charity IT Leaders (CITL). Participants will receive a £50 voucher as a thank-you for their time. We want the report to reflect what organisations are genuinely navigating: balancing mission delivery with limited resources, people, governance responsibilities and cyber risk. Not another report that repeats the same generic advice. A practical, evidence-led view of what helps, what gets in the way, and what leaders need next. WHO WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM We would particularly welcome participants in roles such as: - IT, digital, data or information-security leaders - CEOs, executive directors and senior operational leaders - Trustees, board members or committee members responsible for risk, digital or governance We are keen to hear from organisations of all sizes and across the third sector, including: - Housing - Health and social care - Education - Faith organisations - International development - Environment - Arts and culture WHAT TAKING PART INVOLVES A 45–60-minute online conversation next week, covering practical issues such as: - Cybersecurity leadership and governance - Staff culture and human-related risk - Funding and resource pressures - Priorities for strengthening resilience There is *no preparation required*. We will not ask you to disclose sensitive technical information or details of cyber incidents. Your contribution can be anonymised, and we will agree any use of quotations or organisational references with you before publication. WHY YOUR VOICE MATTERS The report will launch at CITL Connect: Cybersecurity on 12 November 2026. Its purpose is to give trustees, CEOs, funders and technology leaders useful insight they can act on, grounded in the realities of mission-led organisations.
