UK Leaseholders Facing EV Charger Barriers for The Times

Times story about leaseholders' difficulties installing chargers Hi everyone, hope all's well. I'm a journalist at the Times, covering clean energy and the environment, and I'm working on a story about how it's way harder to install a charger in the UK than in other European countries. In Norway, if you live in a leasehold building and want to install a charger, your freeholder has to give you permission to do so. In the UK, however, freeholders and landlords can refuse tenants' requests for chargers without giving a reason, and aren't even obliged to reply to requests. This is a pretty big hurdle for the adoption of EVs in the UK. I was just wondering if there are any leaseholders on here who have struggled to install chargers, and if so whether you'd be up for chatting with me about your experience. All the best!
