UK Working Parents or HR Leaders on Employer Support - Make A Difference Media

I'm writing an article on working parents, and how employers can better support them #journorequest ✍️ Just got a press release that paints a pretty dismal picture of what's going on. The headline claims many working parents are at "breaking point". It talks about "intensifying care pressures". Says "care breakdowns" are increasingly "spilling into work time". The press release has some alarming stats: 👶 63% of working parents feel unable to discuss family pressures openly with their employer 👶 29% report very high stress 👶43% of sandwich carers say they are actively reconsidering their job Unsurprisingly, it finds women suffering more: "significantly more exposed to career damage as care pressures intensify". So, my questions to you, working parents of LinkedIn: 👶 does this resonate? 👶what can employers do to better support working parents? 👶 can you tag a Chief People Officer or Human Resources Director who is passionate about this topic, and is doing good stuff in this area? (I'd love to talk to them) If you don't want to comment below, please DM me, or email [email redacted] And feel free to tag anyone who you think might be well placed to comment - be great to get a discussion going on this :) Findings are from the Modern Families Index press release from Bright Horizons UK, William Meek 🙏 #workingparents #carepressures
