DTH Story about Joe Van Gogh UNC location Closing Hello! I’m writing a story for The Daily Tar Heel about the upcoming closure of the Joe Van Gogh café at UNC. The location is set to close on May 29. I’m looking to speak with anyone who has thoughts, memories, or concerns about the café closing, especially students, staff, faculty, or anyone who used it regularly as part of their day. It’s the café in the lobby of Roper Hall that served coffee, espresso drinks, and baked goods. I’m trying to understand what its presence has meant for people on campus and what its closure will mean going forward.
