US Winter Storm Affected Residents for The Guardian Coverage

At least seven people have died as a fierce winter storm sweeps across the US, leaving hundreds of thousands without power, schools and roads closed, and flights cancelled. The storm has affected 26 states from Texas to Massachusetts, with extreme cold reaching as low as -20C in parts of Texas.
