Workers With Work-Related Mental Health Harm - Recovery Stories
Has work ever messed with your mental health? đź‘€
Mine sure has.
Six years ago, in the last job I held, I felt stuck. I was working in a toxic environment and it started affecting my mental health and how I saw myself.
Maybe you can relate. 🙋
> Maybe you had a manager who slowly broke your confidence.
> Maybe you burned out so badly you barely recognized yourself.
> Maybe you stayed in a job far too long because you felt trapped or didn’t know what else to do.
…or maybe your experience doesn’t fit neatly into any of those categories.
I want to hear your story.
I’m starting a project exploring what happens when work hurts us and just as importantly, what happens afterward.
How do people heal?
How do they move forward?
How do they rebuild their relationship with work, their careers, and themselves?
The stories may eventually become part of a book, speaking project, or other resources designed to help people who are struggling at work feel a little less alone.
And I’m not looking for polished success stories.
I want the real ones.
The messy ones.
The complicated ones.
The stories about what happened, what it cost you, and what helped you find your way forward.
If you’re open to sharing your story, and potentially helping someone else feel less alone, send me a message. I’ll send you a calendar link to book a conversation.
Your story can remain completely anonymous.
I’d really love to hear it. ❤️
