Young People 16-30 in Scotland - AI Storytelling Project

Young people will live with today's #AI decisions the longest. They deserve a say in how AI is built. On Saturday, 27 June, at Scotland's first-ever #AI #For #All #Carnival, we made a promise to turn that belief into action. Today, we're keeping that promise. I'm proud to announce #AIPointr: a national storytelling project from Proudly Black and Scottish, an initiative of the DataKirk, designed to put young adults at the centre of the AI conversation. Not as an audience. As authors. We're inviting young people across Scotland to share how AI is shaping their lives, their communities, and their futures, in their own voice and on their own terms. Because creativity is AI literacy. You don't need to code to understand the impact of artificial intelligence. You simply need to be living through this moment, and every young person already is. We want to hear your story. 🎥 Submit your story as: • Video • Audio • Visual art • Creative writing • Mixed media Stories are welcome in any language, including Gaelic, Scots, and the many community languages spoken across Scotland. 🏆 Prize The winning entry will receive #£200, along with national recognition through the AIPointr initiative. Who can apply? Anyone aged 16–30 living in Scotland with a story about how AI is influencing their world.
