Hi everyone, thanks to everyone who reached out to me at Business Insider with stories about international shipping issues with UPS! We recently published a story about UPS customers having their packages destroyed due to customs issues. We are currently working on a story about UPS customers facing seemingly false 200% Russian aluminum tariffs and other similarly incorrect duties. A few people we spoke with for the first story mentioned that UPS and/or Customs had applied Russian steel or aluminum tariffs to their packages, even if the contents didn't contain either of those metals.
