Adults With Early Magick Experiences - Childhood Anecdotes

What was your earliest experience of magick? Trying to compile anecdotes for a piece I intend to write. Personally my first brush with it was, growing up in a Christian environment, some uncanny things happened as a result of prayer (nothing major - things like being able to light damp matches!). Later I distanced myself away from that religion, but I was still curious how such phenomena might be possible, so I fell down a rabbit hole of research. It also helped that I was surrounded by book and magazines and tv programmes about the paranormal whilst growing up. I am curious to hear other people's point of view. Thanks ❤️
