Airdrie/Rocky View Polish Canadian community — looking for local voices Hi everyone! Anna Ferensowicz here — journalist with DiscoverAirdrie and Air 106.1 FM. I’m hoping to connect with Airdrie or Rocky View County residents who have ties to Alberta’s Polish Canadian community. Polish Canadian Heritage Day in Alberta is coming up June 13 and 14, with events taking place in Calgary. This year’s events focus on Poland’s Solidarity movement, the 1980s immigration wave and Polish Canadian heritage in Alberta.
