Arkansas Parents & Childcare Providers - School Readiness Cuts

In Sunday's edition of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, I shed light on how cuts to the state's School Readiness Assistance program has impacted kids, parents and providers alike. My favorite part of reporting was interacting with the folks who are affected by these changes. It's always a privilege to learn someone's story and get a glimpse into Arkansans' lives. I've covered both politics and education before, but writing this story put into perspective how a single decision by people in power can impact people across our state.
