Australian WWII Veterans - Darwin Bombing 85th Anniversary Documentary

I am about to start working on one of the most significant feature-documentary projects of my career: 'DARWIN 1942: the forgotten war that reshaped Australia.' This isthe commemorative documentary which tells the story of the largest military attack on Australian soil since Federation - the WW2 bombing of Darwin and the other military attacks between 1939-1945. It will be released on the 85th anniversary of the first bombing raid on Darwin (19 Feb 2027) and the story will be told from the perspective of the Veterans who defended Australia. Not many people know about this part of Australia’s history, and yet some say it is one of the most significant military and cultural turning points in our national story. More bombs were dropped on Darwin during WW2 than on Pearl Harbor. The Fall of Singapore ended British dominance in the Pacific. The Allies were losing the war … and Australia was next.
