Berlin Documentary Project Research Hello, My name is Aaron Coleman, I am a Filmmaker based in California. I am going to be visiting Berlin for about two weeks towards the end of October to spend time with my partner who is doing PHD research. While I am there I would like to work on a personal piece documenting the city and its people/communities. Doing research for this project has been a challenge, as I obviously don't want it to be super touristy and I don't speak German, but I figured I would post on this board and see if I get any suggestions. I am looking specifically for people and/or groups that represent elements of society in Berlin, they really can be anything, the goal would be to just capture them doing their thing and possibly ask some questions, think of the project as a sort of time capsule of the era. I am happy to talk with just about anyone and see just about anything, please let me know if you have any idea and thank you to anyone and everyone in advance, I am looking forward to spending time in your wonderful city.
