Businesses With Conversion Drops - Rabbit Hole Investigations

Over the last few months I've noticed something: I don't really do "website audits" anymore. I do investigations. It usually starts with one innocent question: "why aren't people saying yes?" ...and then three hours disappear. I'm comparing competitors, digging through Google rankings, reading Reddit threads, reverse-engineering customer decisions, opening way too many browser tabs, trying to figure out what actually changed. Sometimes the website's guilty. Sometimes it's completely innocent. Last week I looked at a wedding photographer whose enquiries had dried up. I expected a conversion problem. Instead I found her organic traffic had vanished into thin air after a redesign... different problem, same symptom. That rabbit hole turned into a new offer. πŸ‡ Rabbit Hole Investigations πŸ‡ Every few weeks I'll pick one business with an interesting mystery to solve. Not a website review β€” a proper investigation. SEO, positioning, buyer psychology, competitors, the customer journey, and whatever unexpected clues turn up along the way. I'll record the whole thing, publish it on YouTube, and probably write a Substack essay about what I found. So, applications are officially open. If your business has you constantly asking "this shouldn't be happening" or "why the hell aren't they saying yes?" β€” I want to hear about it. The only catch: you have to convince me your mystery is worth another rabbit hole. πŸ‡ Want to apply? Comment "RABBIT HOLE" below and I'll send you the link. P.S. Fair warning: there's a non-zero chance your application inspires three essays and a detective rabbit. #DecisionPsychology #WeddingBusiness #HospitalityMarketing #WebsiteStrategy #RabbitHoleInvestigations
