Careers Practitioners - AI-Driven Employability Projects

Today, I am launching Careers Lab.AI Whenever I log on to LinkedIn, I see walls and walls of text about AI, education, and employability. Yet I hardly ever see discussion that blends these elements. At the same time, much of what I'm being shown is a sales pitch designed toshift a product or a personal brand. I'm interested in what real AI-supported work is taking place across careers education. From small and simple solutions to big, investment-drivenpractices. Each week, I'm going to interview a careers practitioner who is using AI to enhance their work. I'll then showcase this work, including the general cost of the project, how easy it would be to replicate, and any ethical concerns. The sector is in a tight spot at the moment, andsharing best practice can help us all. This week, I speak to Matt Lewis from Middlesex University about how his department are using of Google NotebookLM to supercharge their student assistants, making signposting both quicker and more in-depth. This is a free, easily replicable solution that just about any university could implement with very little technical knowledge required. Are you working on an AI-driven careers and employability project? I'd love to hear from you and showcase your work. Feel free to DM me or send an email to [email redacted]
