I'm doing independent research on pricing in luxury resale, specifically how platforms and authenticators decide what to list items at before they go live.
I've already spoken with casual sellers and I understand the seller side pretty well. What I'm trying to understand now is the platform and professional side. How do you actually decide on a price? What information do you use? What takes the longest? And when something doesn't sell, how does that decision get made?
