WIRED is reporting on the deployment of ICE agents to more than a dozen US airports (including Atlanta, Chicago, Newark, JFK, LaGuardia, Houston, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Phoenix) to assist with crowd control and security amid a partial government shutdown and questions about immigration enforcement. Reporters are seeking current or former government employees (for example TSA, ICE, DHS staff, airport police, or other relevant agency workers) who can describe what’s happening on the ground and how the deployments are being carried out.
