Delivery Drivers & Customers - Missing Tips on Apps

Do drivers and customers ever talk about tips? I'm writing a story about tipping for Business Insider, specifically whether customers and delivery workers ever have discussions about tips that apparently went missing on the app. I saw a recent post on another sub from a customer who DM'ed their driver a screenshot of their tip. The driver didn't see the tip on their end, assumed the customer hadn't tipped at all, and sent them a message complaining about it (even though, as it turned out, the customer had in fact left them a tip).
