Employees Impacted by Leaders - Leadership Impact Beyond Work

We know this, what happens at work doesn't always stay there. A difficult leader can follow us home and affect our confidence, health, relationships, families and even the decisions we make about our future. But great leadership can be equally impactful. A leader who genuinely cares about us can build confidence, create hope and help us see possibilities for ourselves we had not thought about before. And that also flows into our broader lives, families and futures too. The impacts in both cases can be significant and that is what is behind the book that I am writing and research I am conducting into leadership beyond the workplace. I want to understand how leadership impacts us both positively and negatively and bring those experiences to life through stories.
